How your local NHS services can help you stay well for longer

Many NHS patient records and appointments IT systems and services have been affected by a global outage. NHS partners are working together to ensure patient care and safety, while urgent work is underway to fix the IT outage as quickly as possible.

Although some services, including phone systems, may be limited at GP practices, community pharmacies, hospitals and other health providers, it is important that patients attend booked appointments as planned unless they hear from the NHS directly. Please check individual health provider websites for the latest information.

If patients are unable to contact their GP practice and need urgent medical advice, they should use NHS 111 online or call 111 which will direct them to the appropriate services. Patient should call 999 in a life-threatening emergency
